Kim Madrid, CAP serves as Associate Managing Director for the Executive Office at the University of New Mexico Foundation, where she partners with senior leadership to advance organizational priorities, strengthen communication, and support strategic initiatives. Throughout her career, Kim has built a reputation for fostering meaningful relationships, navigating complex conversations with emotional intelligence, and creating connections that drive results.
A Certified Administrative Professional (CAP), Kim is a passionate advocate for leadership development, effective communication, and lifelong learning. She is an experienced presenter, mentor, and Toastmasters member who enjoys helping others build confidence, strengthen interpersonal skills, and communicate with greater authenticity and impact.
In addition to her professional role, Kim serves on the Boards of Directors for both the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP) and the IAAP Foundation. She also serves on the organizations' Joint Finance Committee, contributing to the financial stewardship and long-term sustainability of both organizations.
